JVC and Grass Valley Have Houses of Worship Covered
From smaller venues to larger auditoriums, JVC and Grass Valley have all houses of worship covered. Whether you need to simply stream the sermon live to the internet, or you are producing large multi-camera services, the products JVC and Grass Valley offer are a perfect match for your needs.
Let’s start with JVC’s line of PTZ cameras.
The JVC KY-PZ100BU Robotic PTZ Network Video Production Camera is a robotic pan, tilt and zoom video production camera. It’s the first PTZ camera that features JVC’s unique IP communications engine providing network connection via WiFi, 4G-LTE, or cabled LAN. It’s designed to be used as a stand-alone remote camera or as part of a multi-camera system in both studio and field environments.
In addition to its 3G-SDI and HDMI outputs, it is also capable of reliably streaming 1080i/60, 1080p, 720p, and 360p video with 2-channel audio–all with minimal latency and forward error correction. Camera control is possible from a web browser, or with the dedicated RM-LP100 remote control panel, or from a variety of remote units using a standard protocol. The camera also includes onboard HD recording at up to 50Mbps to a micro SDHC/SDXC card with the ability to upload the recorded files to an external server.
The KY-PZ100 features JVC’s highly accurate direct drive mechanism for smooth, quiet and precise positioning with up to 100 preset positions. Positioning can be performed at a range of speeds from very very slow to very fast while retaining pin-point accuracy (within 0.03°). A newly developed 1/2 inch image sensor and 30x optical zoom lens produce superb broadcast quality images even in low light environments. The camera’s Wide Dynamic Range mode provides clear natural foreground images even under challenging highlight conditions.
Power the camera, control it, and stream to the world all from a single ethernet cable. Or go wireless. Just provide power to the camera, plug in a WiFi adapter or LTE modem, and you’ll have the world’s most convenient,
A high-quality robotic camera that can be placed virtually anywhere, stream full HD, and be controlled from anywhere in the world!
Need a manned camera or two? Lets look at the GY-LS300
The JVC GY-LS300 is a perfect camera for
Compact, convenient, and ultra high definition! The GY-LS300 is equipped with a 4K Super 35 CMOS sensor and accommodates a wide range of cinema and photographic lenses and adapters for dazzling cinematic effects. Create hours of pristine recordings on SDHC/SDXC media in a variety of image formats including 4K Ultra HD, Full HD with 4:2:2 sampling, SDand web friendly proxy formats. Conventional DSLR cameras simply can’t match the high reliability, long recording time and ergonomics provided by JVC’s GY-LS300. Its dual codec design allows you to make two copies of your program simultaneously. You can even stream live HD over the internet to content delivery networks such as USTREAM while recording full HD. No other removable lens video camera offers this much flexibility in such a compact, easy-to-handle form factor.
The GY-LS300 features a JVCKENWOOD AltaSens 4K CMOS Super 35 high sensitivity image sensor uniquely combined with an industry standard Micro Four Thirds (MFT) lens mount. The single chip CMOS sensor has approximately 13.5 megapixels and achieves a standard sensitivity of ISO 400 with a total of 12 stops of exposure latitude. Super 35 Cinema lenses may be used and will retain their native angle of view. When the camera is used with MFT, Super 16 and other size lenses, JVC’s proprietary Variable Scan Mapping feature will maintain the lens’s native angle of view. This gives filmmakers the flexibility of using widely available MFT lenses as well as
JVC’s unique variable scan mapping allows you to dynamically map the pixels on the GY-LS300 4K image sensor to your target output resolution. This feature, most useful when recording in HD, allows you to zoom with prime lenses, or extend the range of zoom lenses. This demonstration shows the effect of dynamically mapping from full scan to 1920 x 1080, which has the effect of zooming the image without loss of resolution or change in DOF. The flower image shows the relationship of the sensor to final output. The woman in gallery images shows the zoom effect with camera movement.
Let’s tie the whole production together with a Grass Valley Director
